Inspiration: Bloc Party

OK, so this isn't technically pulp OR press related, but it relates to my rock and roll inspiration so I have deemed it relevant: Bloc Party ruled last night! It had been a long time since we'd been to the Aragon, but visually it always seems kind of enchanted with it's Disneyland-esque sculptures and painted ceiling. Even though Kele and the boys had to end a bit early due to issues he was having with his voice, they certainly pumped out the rock, the likes of which we haven't seen in ages! Shaky concert cam:

(pic taken during 'Flux') It's nice to know that people still get really into concerts...I suppose we haven't been to a show with a younger crowd for a newish band in a long time. Man, those kids really make a lot of noise, unlike the sober 30 somethings for Placebo, Social Distortion, Muse, Snow Patrol, or the like. We'll likely be plunked firmly back in that reality for the Morrissey show next weekend, though I've heard his fans (however 30 or 40 something) are particularly rabid. It's probably unlikely I'll be able to wrestle any of them for a sweaty Moz shirt.
